A magic two days of improv in the last year of The Pines recording studio in Griffintown, Montréal. Before this Will Eizlini and Ian Ferrier had worked on Ian's Exploding Head Man CD/book, as well as Eizlini's live score for Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain and his live radio play with music.

The sound that became this record originated with their Amanita Reindeer Christmas show at Casa del Popolo in 2015. This hallucinogenic mix of music and story traced the origins of flying reindeer to their grazing on amanita mushrooms. The first live Cookie Magique Show featured the band on this record at La Vitrola in 2018.
